"I started helping in my father’s Jewellery workshop at 14, learning basic goldsmithing, including polishing and casting Jewellery. Then 32 years ago, I started working full time at Michael Levin Jewellers, owned by my father. It is there I learned the retail side of Jewellery and achieved a diploma, from the National Association of Goldsmiths. In 2017 my business partners and I decided to open Levins Fine Jewellery in Nottingham. I love both new and antique Jewellery and have built up a wealth of knowledge of both in the last 30+ years. My favorite job is working with clients to create custom pieces of Jewellery. It’s so rewarding when they get to see the final product.”

“ In 1986 I decided to join my father’s business supplying Jewellery and clocks to retailers around the country. When my father retired, I started my own wholesale diamond Jewellery business, supplying some of the best jewellers in the UK. When I was approached to open Levins Fine Jewellers I looked forward to the challenge of starting a new business. Knowing both sides of the industry has helped enormously in sourcing the best quality diamonds and gemstones. I’m a sociable person so working in retail and meeting lots of new people every day has been great. "

“I started working in Poysers in 1998 and then a few well known Jewellery shops in Nottingham. I have a diploma from the National Association of Goldsmiths. I love meeting people and helping them choose jewelley. It’s so rewarding when people walk out the shop with something I know they will treasure. My favourite things are shopping and diamonds, so this job’s perfect. “

“I come from a family of jewellers. My father and grandfather both owned their own shops where I helped out from an early age. In the mid 70’s I joined the family business full time. Then from 1984 I worked in several independent & high street jewellers. In addition to the wealth of knowledge I gained from my father, I also did a City & Guilds in jewellery. I love fashion and my favourite part of my job is finding a piece of Jewellery to match an outfit, whether its for a wedding or an everyday item. I also love antique jewellery and the story behind each piece “

“I have been selling Jewellery since 2002 and have a diploma from the National Association of Goldsmiths. My absolute favourite thing is selling engagements rings. I love it when the bride to be comes back into store saying how much they love it and knowing that I helped to choose their forever ring"
